Delivery time
On this page you will find details about our shipping times and (expected) delivery times. For information on shipping costs, shipping options and other related issues, please visit our customer service page "Shipping Options/Costs".
Ordered before 2 p.m., shipped today*.
Most items ordered before 2 p.m. we can ship the same day. For some items this is even 15:00.
Please note:
- This only applies to orders placed on Dutch business days
- This only applies to items / shipments where this is actually (practically) possible
- Typing errors and stock differences reserved
- Not valid on custom orders and custom orders (see explanation further down this page)
- For (very) large orders it is possible that we can only deliver a part of the order quickly (partial delivery)
Exceptions to the shipping promise we will always try to mention on our website. Deviations from the visible shipping promise we will communicate.
Delivery time for shipments within the Netherlands
In most cases orders can be delivered within 1 - 2 days. If there is a Sunday and/or holiday(s) in between, delivery can usually take 2 - 5 days.
Our standard carrier PostNL delivers Monday through Saturday, excluding holidays.
Larger / heavier packages (e.g. certified safes) we usually send with carrier Transmission. They only deliver on working days.
Unfortunately it is not possible to specify a specific delivery time with Transmission. However, it is possible to choose the delivery day.
Delivery time for shipments outside the Netherlands
Orders that have to be shipped to an address outside the Netherlands often travel a greater distance, which usually leads to longer delivery times. For Belgium, the delivery time is relatively short: 1 - 3 days for a parcel and 2 - 3 days for a letterbox package. For other European countries, the expected delivery time is usually 2 - 5 days.
Shipments to countries outside Europe usually have a delivery time of 1 - 2 weeks.
Delivery time of customized orders
The shipping time of custom orders is generally a lot longer than the shipping time for ready-made (stock) items.
Examples include:
- Door cylinders yet to be assembled (special sizes).
- Keyed alike door cylinder sets (when not in stock)
- Order extra keys
- Re-order door cylinders (by key code)
- Ordering additional keys (by key code)
- A key plan or locking plan
- Custom made safes (e.g. watch safes)
- Other customized orders
- Large projects
Need your order quickly?
It may be that you need your order, or part of it, quickly. For example, because you need something for a (construction) project that has to go through, you bought a gift from us for a soon-to-be birthday boy or for some other reason.
We can then assess whether the desired delivery date is realistic.
Please note that we are always (partly) dependent on external carriers.
What if fast delivery is not possible?
Sometimes it may happen that we cannot deliver (certain items) quickly. If this is not mentioned with the article we will contact you and ask if a longer delivery time is acceptable for you. If you cannot wait long for your order we will try to find a (temporary) alternative. This is of course always done in consultation.
For example: you have ordered a door cylinder from us and it is currently not readily available. If you indicate that you need it quickly (for example because you cannot lock your door otherwise), we will suggest an alternative that you can then use temporarily.

Are you not satisfied with the delivery time?
Unfortunately, we are always (partly) dependent on external transport services for the delivery time.
If the delivery time is longer than expected or agreed upon, we would like to ask you to first check via the tracking info (which you will receive from us with the shipping confirmation) when we offered the shipment to the carrier. If this shows that we delivered your order on (agreed) time, it is best to contact the carrier directly for questions / complaints.
Of course we are also always ready to think along with you / help where possible.
